Night shift Dispatcher
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of tows
- Monitor and track the movement of tow trucks
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities
- Assist in fleet management, including vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs
- maintaining the accounting and invoicing.
-Various side duties.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
