DevOps Engineer

Overview
Our retail client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a high-priority internal technology initiative. This role focuses on enabling and supporting frontend applications within a DevOps environment and requires someone who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up time. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting and has experience supporting large-scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of frontend applications within a DevOps framework
- Build and deploy applications using React and Node.js
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, and platform teams to ensure successful application delivery
- Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
- Monitor deployments and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments
- Assist with release management and implementation activities under tight timelines
- Ensure application stability, performance, and reliability across enterprise environments
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with React and Node.js
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience supporting frontend applications in production environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability and willingness to work onsite 4–5 days per week in Brentwood, TN
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail or large enterprise environments
- Experience supporting multi-location or enterprise-wide deployments
- Senior-level experience with the ability to work independently and ramp up quickly
