Brown Bag Beverage is a growing craft spirits, beer, cider and wine distributor here is San Diego County and we are looking for the best sales team members to assist in our growth. The ideal candidate will have passion for craft beer, experience in craft beverage sales, a background in ON and OFF Premise sales and would know who the key players are within the territory.We are looking for a craft beer lover who wants to work hard, be aggressive with a positive attitude and represent us successfully!
Our Account Managers shall be responsible for the promotion of and the sales of draft and bottled beer and cider in on and off premise accounts in an assigned territory, work closely with suppliers to grow sales volume, open new accounts, and maintain existing accounts while developing new relationships throughout the distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning and growing in their profession and someone who wants to tap into all that San Diego has to offer to the craft beverage lover.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Increase market share and same-location sales of our beers.
*Aggressively pursue new accounts and build relationships with existing accounts.
*Visit and Call-On 20-25 accounts per day
*Develop expert knowledge and understanding of our portfolio of local and regional craft beer and cider
*Manage individual time and activities to maximize sales volume in defined territory.
*Conduct product tasting and account staff education with key accounts.
*Sales Performance- the Sales Representative will be required to meet or exceed established sales standards*Organize, plan and staff promotional & special events
*Accurately report activities and account records in our database Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Beverage sales experience at distributor or supplier level
*Cicerone Beer Server certification REQUIRED (or currently taking the Cicerone course) *Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
*Excellent persuasive selling and relationship development skills a must.
*Bachelor's Degree, equivalent experience is a must. *Service industry and hospitality experience preferred. *Mastery of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
*Available to work Monday through Friday.
