Brown & Brown Insurance is currently seeking a skilled Account Manager to join their Commercial Lines division in San Antonio! The Account Manager will work in conjunction with Sales Producers and Account Administrators to service and retain a book of business.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address client’s needs, including risk and identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.
  • Responsible for day to day account management of clients accounts.
  • Provide customer relations with all levels of client’s decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
  • Follow up to address customer needs and resolve their problems/issues.
  • Ensure the proper resources from within the organization are involved with the customer and introduce new products through the other core business groups where appropriate.
  • Document sales, prospecting information into the sales management database.
  • Prepare customer renewal and new business strategy including proposals and presentations and ensure they agree with customer’s requests/requirements.
  • Present proposal to customer ensuring appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend.
  • Maintain follow-up and suspense file though AMS 360 and Image Right, documenting conversation in activities and adhering to all other automation procedures.
  • Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Keep producers and /or management fully informed of important activities on their accounts.
  • Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technology.
  • Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills

Required:

  • Current P&C insurance license in state of TX
  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance coverages and forms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
