We're looking for a responsible Tow Truck Driver to assist in our towing operations. We are seeking candidates with excellent customer service, who are dependable and enjoy helping people, and who are capable of working independently. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of a wide variety of tow truck equipment, and will be able to read maps to find new destinations and perform minor mechanical repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Hook up to cars and remove them from the scene of an accident.
- Drive a tow truck with a crane.
- Pull vehicles out of ditches and mud.
- Put down wood or metal ramps and block the wheels of cars that need to be towed.
- Know how to position cars to put them on dollies.
- Know how to drive tow trucks without causing damage to their cargo.
- Be able to haul cars out of tight spaces.
- Be able to use the air-break in place of brakes in the event of a locking brake failure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week
