OVERVIEW:
Broyles and Associates, P.C. is currently seeking exceptional Structural Engineers that share our corporate vision, mission, and values. Our office is located in Chesapeake, VA.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
- Work with the drafting team on full structural design
- Maintain the accuracy and high drawing standards set by our company
- Project Management duties (job start to finish - the primary focus will be on structural designs through construction documents and construction administration)
- Attend client meetings and site visits as required (potential travel for site surveys and investigations to a facility)
- Work with all members of the build team internally and externally (architects, project contractors, owners, etc.)
- Ability to lead and mentor the developing staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- US Citizen [Required]
- Licensed P.E. with Structural Emphasis or S.E. [Required]
- Structural Engineering and Project Management Experience [Required]
- Proficiency with Structural Engineering Software and knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience in Designing Steel, Concrete, Wood, and Masonry Buildings
- Experience in Evaluation and Renovation of Existing Buildings
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Team-Oriented Mindset
- Passionate about Structural Design
