As one of our Traffic Signal Technicians, you are a valuable part of our success collaborating with the team to deliver "Beyond the Expected" results.
The Work:
- Commit to safe work there is nothing more important!
- Perform highly skilled installations, repair and maintenance of traffic control devices
- Read schematics and blueprints to diagnose problems
- Troubleshoot and restore operation to streetlights, telephone poles, and other electrical systems
- Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints regarding malfunctioning equipment
- Evaluate, design, and construct tests of new equipment
- Install new overhead traffic signals and streetlight equipment using an aerial lift truck
- Conduct preventative maintenance for overhead signal, cabinet, school flasher and other ITS devices
- Other duties as assigned
Here's What You Need:
- 3 years Traffic Signal Technician experience
- Strong knowledge of technical expertise in the installation and repair of streetlight systems
- Excellent Computer Aptitude
Bonus Points if You Have:
- IMSA Certification
- Class B or Class A CDL
- Knowledge of MDOT and/or VDOT regulations
- Training and/or experience using the National Electrical Code (NEC)
