Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.
Duties:
- Receive, unpack, and check incoming shipments
- Verify orders, stock items, and update records in the Warehouse Management System
- Prepare items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and arranging for the transportation of products
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials
- Perform order picking, packaging, and labeling tasks
- Utilize AS400 system for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving roles preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory counting and verification
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Experience with order picking, packing, and labeling processes
- Knowledge of loading/unloading procedures
