SUMMARY:
The Engineering Technician will be a key member of the Bryant Associates team in our Louisville, KY office, where he/she will provide support in collecting data.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Engineering Technician will collect data in reference to signalized intersections being ADA compliant.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
• Communicates with project managers, surveyors, and colleagues to perform data collection
• Will gather engineering data from a variety of sources
• Perform general administrative duties by maintaining project plans
• Perform field inspections and fill out the required forms either on paper or using a compter
• Perform field water sampling and analysis
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Proven ability to be well organized with data management and file structure
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal skill
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Desire to work in a team environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

TRAVEL:
This position requires extensive overnight and travel throughout the state of Kentucky.
