Here are some requirements to have to be a potential Community Manager:
- Leading/Managing the Team in daily operations of the community, maintaining an engaging and motivating presence.
- Effectively coach the team, guiding and developing to create an inclusive workplace making all feel welcomed.
- Manage budget, accounts, rent collections, and tenant notices; effectively utilize software to ensure accuracy and timeliness of process.
- Maintain, organize, and update resident files and records.
- Prepares client reporting for review by Asset Director, ensuring all supporting documentation is gathered for regular client meetings.
- Timely respond, address and resolve residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
- Inspect property conditions and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring community and buildings are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations while promoting the captivating curb appeal and amenities.
- Secures property and implements safety precautions; responds to emergencies, reporting as required, completing all documentation.
- Plans and oversees renovations, maintenance, repairs, and services while professionally managing vendor relations.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all Company guidelines.
- Complete time worked and mileage reimbursement records in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical and consistent manner.
- Follow established Company policies and procedures.
- Any other task as assigned.
Background, Experiences, and Talents
- Bring your high energy and positive attitude to contribute to an awesome atmosphere!
- Apply your financial skills/background to manage the property budget, accounts, and rent collections.
- Great customer service with excellent communication skills from relatable experience whether any aspect of property management positions or hospitality (hotels, restaurants), retail service, etc.
- 2 years multi-family leasing management experience required with multiple years of leasing experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellence in time management.
- Superb scheduling and prioritizing skills to coordinate work with vendors and contractors for property projects.
- Ability to effectively, professionally help and support the property team members in the daily procedures and processes.
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) required; also, Property Management Software database experience preferred.
- Bilingual highly desired but not required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
