We are searching for a Mechanical Designer in our St. Louis Studio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide support to Engineer
- Assists in client engagement.
- Attends client, consultant, and design committee meetings.
- Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.

Develop quality project documents
- Assists in planning, design and documentation of projects. Prepares working drawings.
- Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
- May present portions of design to client, participates in consulting partner or design committee meetings and discusses need for modification for change.
- Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.

Meet deadlines and manage personal utilization within project budgets.
- May own portions of project delivery and works on documents/details to deliver specified portion of project within assigned workplan hours.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
- Pursue certification and/or license (if on a licensure track).
- Support systems commissioning activities, including site visits and functional testing - development and execution.
- Provide mentoring to other staff members as directed.
- Promote company reputation through good client relations.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

- Code and Mathematical knowledge required: Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety laws. Work requires advanced math skills, special relationship abilities, and the ability to understand “abstract” principles behind math and physics

Computer skills required: Revit; Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Google: Mail, Calendar, Drive, Apps; familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
- Mechanical: Energy modeling software, selection programs, etc.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Design related technical degree, Bachelors or Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or applicable field

- Experience within healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred
