Position Summary:
The Groundskeeper ensures that all grounds, buildings and equipment are properly maintained in the most timely and cost-efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains grounds of community.
- Cleans grounds and removes litter, using necessary tools.
- Maintains and repairs Lawn Sprinkler system.
- Assists Maintenance Technicians as needed in maintaining all grounds, buildings apartment homes and equipment.
- Assists in the execution of preventative maintenance program.
- Advises supervisor of the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.
- Interacts with residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles. Sprinkler Repair Experience Preferred.
