Duties & Responsibilities
- Request road work and/or road cut permits from the DOT and Municipalities
- Create and Supply route maps and construction drawings for permits
- Convert field data to project deliverables and maintain tracking such documents for each project.
- Receives requests for police and processes field requests for police officers and flaggers
- Individual will be responsible for formatting electronic documents prior to manager’s final review and submission to our client.
- Use phone system to make outbound calls, route calls, and take inbound calls
- Email permits to the project manager when obtained
- Enter permit cost into CRM and loads for billing purposes
- Manage and organize records and files
- Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs
- Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods
- Update and complete Asbuilt tasks – as it relates to updating records, completing documents and reports, creating and updating maps, and submitting deliverables back to clients using Adobe Pro
- Directs the activities of the dispatch area, taking on-the-spot actions to prevent and/or correct problems
- Communicate with project managers to ensure all documents meet requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of permitting experience (Required)
- Experience Telecommunications (Preferred)
- Demonstrates knowledge of CATV Design principles as it relates to mapping, design, printing, and standards and specifications (Preferred)
- Proficient in Excel (Required)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro (required)
- Proficient in Salesforce (preferred)
- You will need to be able to problem solve, negotiate, work pro-actively and resourcefully and have a calm and empathetic approach
- Maintain an organized electronic and hard copy filing system
- Able to take direction and willing to work alone when needed
- Organized and able to process large amounts of data in a timely manner
- Must be computer literate
- Possess general knowledge of state/city permitting requirements
- Proficient communication skills
- Construction knowledge (preferred)
- Prior scheduling experience (preferred)
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Associate Degree (Preferred)
Salary
- Pay rate $17.00 – $22.00 an hour based on experience
