Job Summary:
To work with current clients maintaining relationships for 1st call for disasters. Build new relationships and enroll prospects into current available programs following the sales process. Use opportunities to increase brand awareness, increase community/client awareness of offered services, and educate the public as a trusted advisor. Be involved in community outreach and donations for targeted markets and prospects. Act as a semi-customer service rep as time allows to ensure the strength of our service and report on any areas of improvements as communicated by clients/customers.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Develop new unique and valuable offerings for target markets and maintain client relationships through job process which includes phone calls, brief visits and job close out process.
• Business development involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentations to the prospects in a compelling manner after having researched their business and requirements
• Document daily activities and contact/referral information in appropriate software
• Participate in marketing related activities for PIVOT group
• Attend community networking opportunities, such as Chamber of Commerce, Biz to Biz, SWMBIA, Bozeman Professional Women
• Support overall marketing activities and events such as golf tournaments, barbeques, tailgates, etc.
• Work closely with our team within the organization to assure tactical promises are consistently delivered
• Attend weekly sales/marketing meetings
Competencies or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be able to manage a territory as well as strong prospecting skills
• Business Developers need to be skilled at selling to customer’s needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and organizational skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Effective presentation skills are a must
• Business Development Reps. need a strong track record of business-to-business sales
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence are key for a successful Business Development Rep.
• Excellent organizational skills are essential as well as performance monitoring will be a requirement
• Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and our CRM database

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
