What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Collection/ Driver position at BUFFALO TRACE AREA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT INC?
The Buffalo Trace Area Development District (BTADD) is currently seeking applicants for 1-2 part time, time limited, positions for data collection assistance. Applicants will be responsible for field collection in Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason, and Robertson Counties.
Under the general direction of the Planning and Development Director, the part time employee will provide data collection assistance for the Safe Streets for All Grant of the Planning and Development Department, as well as perform other duties as requested and required by the grant. Duties will include providing data collection assistance to meet the needs for the “Safe Streets for All” grant. Data collection will be collected by driving specified roadways within the BTADD region, in which data collection will be utilized in the development of a road safety action plan. This plan will have identification of safety improvements for Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason and Robertson Counties. Staff will be responsible for field review, identification of safety hazards along Focus Roadways, and data entry of said hazards. This data will be collected using Survey123 field App of the ArcGIS suite of products. This data will be collected with a tablet with GPS and camera capabilities. Data collection devices and vehicle will be provided by the ADD.
