What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Buffalo Wire Works?
Buffalo Wire Works manufactures and supplies a complete line of wire cloth, wear parts, plate, anti-blinding screens, rubber/urethane and screening accessories for the aggregate and mining industries. Our industrial wire cloth division services the sand, recycling materials, abrasives, fertilizer production, powdered metals, pharmaceutical and more.
2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday) Training will take place on 1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday)
Duties:
· Perform finished product inspections, routing to next operation
· Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials
· Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs)
· Maintain an excellent working relationship with all production areas and the engineering and sales departments
· Assist in inspection-related activities for new tooling and new part evaluations
· Perform root-cause analyses.
· Other duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Proficient use of various measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) required
- Excellent math skills required
- 2 years hands on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required
- Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills and a team player required
- Able to lift up to 50lbs. or more required
- Prior experience in Manufacturing Quality Control preferred
- Root Cause Analysis experience preferred
- Forklift experience a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
