What are the responsibilities and job description for the RTC Site Coach position at Building Blocks?
Overview
The RTC Site Coach supports early learning by providing guidance and assistance to Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers and site directors across Southern Indiana. The RTC Site Coach will review and assist with Comprehensive Program Reviews to ensure sites are meeting program requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, in Education, Human Service, Non-profit Management, Business Administration, or related field
· Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in program development and management required; experience in early childhood preferred
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to effectively represent Building Blocks in a variety of settings.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Must meet qualifications to become an INAEYC Approved Trainer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
1. Site Coach will review and assist providers with a Comprehensive Program Review with the following components:
· Program Structure
· Environment
· Curriculum and Assessment
· Health, Safety, and Nutrition
· Families and Communities
2. Responsible for creating Site Action Plans based on Program Review data
3. Responsible for creating Site Level Portfolios
4. Will provide support and maintain communication with Childcare Personnel
5. Assist with ECE site business plans.
Assist ECE site with Kindergarten Transition Plan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 per year
