Building Concepts of America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple projects for commercial Pre-Engineered Steel Building, Metal Wall & Metal Roof Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and be the Lead Project Manager on assigned projects.Requirements:ResponsibilitiesMust be proficient in reading blue prints, specifically architectural and structural drawings.Must be able to refer to sections and details in drawings and do material take-offs from drawingsExperience doing submittals for approval post contract and prior to mobilizationWork with suppliers to procure submittals, and perform material buy-outsManage each projects budget and scheduleOversee multiple construction projects simultaneously from contract to close-outReview and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, schematics, and specificationsCoordinate construction processes and AIA Certificates for Payments each monthWork independently while maintaining strong communication with the team and clientsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be proficient with Blue Print ReadingWork from office, this is not a work from home positionStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBachelor Degree Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent education and experience preferred.At least 3-5 years of construction management experience.Valid driver’s license, clear background, computer skillsExcellent customer service skills.Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, MS Project (preferred).Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time off
