Position Summary:
The Door Shop Associate must be able to distinguish wood species and the various wood characteristics and defects. They must be able to operate and understand the various woodworking equipment and their limitations and expectations.
A general knowledge of basic machining and construction methodologies and practices and the ability to apply these requirements are mandatory. Candidates should be team oriented and adhere to a continuous improvement environment.
- Read a tape measure accurately
- Read and understand work instructions
- Distinguish the various species of wood and their characteristics
- Set up and operation of the various woodworking machinery
- Communicate issues or suggestions for improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow company processes and procedures
- Adhere to safety specifications
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned
- Monday-Friday 6am-2pm, overtime as needed
- Meet standard criminal background, drug screen and physical
