We are seeking a skilled and experienced Iron Worker to join our team in the field. As an Iron Worker, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting steel structures, reinforcing bars, and pre-cast concrete for various construction projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
• Cutting, shaping, and fitting steel beams, columns, and other structural elements
• Welding, bolting, or riveting components together to form complete structures
• Installing and reinforcing rebar in concrete structures
• Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Following all safety procedures and regulations on site
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Iron Worker or similar role
• Certification in welding and rigging is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Physical strength and stamina to work in a demanding construction environment
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team
