SAP Manufacturing Systems Analyst
Location: Holland, MI (Onsite – 4–5 days per week) (Relocation Available)
Overview
We are seeking a SAP Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support and continuously improve SAP-enabled manufacturing operations in a high-volume production environment. This role is hands-on, operational, and highly collaborative with shop-floor teams. You will serve as the frontline IT partner for manufacturing, ensuring systems remain stable, usable, and aligned with how work actually gets done on the floor.
This is a senior individual contributor role, not a lead or people-management position. The focus is on day-to-day manufacturing support, operational improvements, and preparing the environment for a future SAP S/4HANA transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day SAP manufacturing support in a live production environment
- Partner directly with shop-floor operators, supervisors, and manufacturing leaders
- Resolve production-impacting issues and ensure systems remain operational
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that simplify workflows and increase efficiency
- Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing and IT, translating operational needs into system solutions
- Support manufacturing execution, transactional processes, and reporting
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of system changes
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors on fixes and enhancements
- Contribute to readiness efforts for an upcoming SAP S/4HANA transformation
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing systems in a production environment
- Functional experience supporting SAP ECC in manufacturing-related processes
- Strong understanding of shop-floor operations and manufacturing workflows
- Proven experience working directly with manufacturing users and leadership
- Demonstrated ability to deliver operational and process improvements
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI (manufacturing-facing role). Relocation and Sign-On Bonus are available for qualified candidates.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or ECC-to-S/4 transformation initiatives
- Experience supporting custom MES or manufacturing front-end systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing execution metrics such as scrap, rework, OEE, and quality codes (execution-level)
- Experience across multiple SAP manufacturing-related areas (e.g., PP, MM, logistics)
- Ability to read and understand ABAP logic at a high level (no development required)

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
