SAP S4 Hypercare & AMS Transition Lead (202904)

BCTG’s direct client is looking for a highly organized and technically proficient Hypercare & AMS Transition Lead to manage the post-go-live support phase and ensure a seamless transition to Application Management Services (AMS). This role is critical in stabilizing operations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and embedding long-term support structures for enterprise SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Hypercare Execution

• Lead Hypercare planning and execution across SAP workstreams.
• Manage incident prioritization and resolution tracking (P1–P5).
• Facilitate daily standups and activate support channels.
• Monitor business KPIs and ensure resolution of critical defects.
• Oversee month-end close support and ensure business continuity.

AMS Transition Management

• Develop and execute AMS transition plans for medium/low-priority incidents and change requests.
• Help Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions with detailed documentation.
• Assign primary and secondary support roles and ensure AMS team readiness.
• Align with AMS providers on kickoff timelines and expectations.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain centralized documentation including CR processes, lessons learned, and governance models.
• Keep track of documentation updates needed for a smooth transition.
• Ensure end-user training and handover plans are in place.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in SAP project lifecycle, including Hypercare and AMS transition.
• Strong understanding of incident management, KT planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Proficiency in SNOW, ADO, Excel Dashboards, Power BI, and good understanding of SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with AMS providers and System Integration Partners is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive alignment across business and IT.
• Familiarity with S4 /SAP
• Experience supporting hyper care for finance, supply chain, or manufacturing modules and other SAP modules.
