SUMMARY:

The Concierge is responsible for providing a unique and memorable experience for each Gundlach Bundschu guest through supreme customer service aptitude, organizational skills & a positive attitude. The GB Concierge is a self-starter and internally motivated and can thrive both working independently and in a fast-paced, team environment. Above all, the GB Concierge is a personal yet professional brand ambassador of all things Bundschu Co. and has a passion for wine knowledge, customer service, and our family heritage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Priorities: in order and % of time committed

Daily Operations: 90%

• To create and manage a visitor experience unequal to any in wine country while supporting the management team in daily operations.
• Supreme organizational skills and ability to map out and hold the reservation schedule/flow for our retail experiences
• Time management skills, being able to keep track of and remind guests of their 90 minute reservation time
• Supreme customer service skills – concierge is the first wave of hospitality to our property!

Cross Departmental Support: 10%

• To support additional departments for efficiency.
• Assist restocking merchandise/food, supplies & wine as EOD duties

  • Strives for a friendly and respectful tone of voice in all communications with guests and peers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age (preferred)
• At least 1 year’s experience in the hospitality industry or qualified experience (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, etc.)
• Proficiency or coachability in learning our POS system (AMS)
• Professionalism and personability in appearance/demeanor
• Passion for wine industry and being a part of our Gun Bun team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Stand on one’s feet for a full shift (6-8 hours)
• Exhibit full range of motion while standing, lifting, bending, etc.
