Job Description : As a Customer Service Representative at American Family Insurance, you will be the first point of contact for our customers.
You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and strong client relationships. Your main responsibilities will include answering customer queries, handling concerns, and managing customer accounts.
Responsibilities :
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer's emails.
- Manage and resolve customer concerns.
- Identify and escalate issues to the agent..
- Provide product and service information to customers.
- Research required information using available resources.
- Research, identify, and resolve customer concerns using applicable software.
- Process orders, forms, and applications.
- Be resourceful and solve problems / concerns with little guidance.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls.
- Follow up customer calls where necessary.
- Complete call logs and reports.
- Other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) systems and practices.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Licensed in Property and Casualty in the state of Minnesota - If you aren't licensed yet, that's ok, you just have to be willing to be.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check with the state of Minnesota to become licensed.
