B&N CAD Technician/Designer Responsibilities:

• Provide AutoCAD/Civil 3D design support for a wide variety of projects with ties to the environmental field
• Prepare figures, maps, cross-sections, and design drawings for a variety of projects including park facility development, stream/wetland restoration, industrial site development, Brownfield remediation, and groundwater supply
• Work directly with project engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to learn design skills for a variety of projects as listed above

Skills and Qualifications:

• Vocational school or associate degree in related program preferred. Civil Engineering Technician preferred
• 0-5 years of environmental related experience preferred
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD strongly preferred
• ORD and Connect experience a plus
• Ability to take verbal direction and implement into drawings and calculations to produce the final work
• Good communication skills and strong understanding of plan clarity
