Burial Beer Co is seeking a team-oriented and hard-working Packaging Operator to join the Packaging team, working together to meet the goals of the department. Packaging Operators play an integral role in maintaining the quality of our beverages as they enter new vessels. Tasks include keg cleaning and filling, can and bottle filling, and equipment maintenance.

The Job
Burial Beer Co. Packaging Operators are responsible for maintaining the quality of our beverages as they enter new vessels. Tasks include keg cleaning and filling, can and bottle filling and care, and equipment maintenance. To succeed in this role, you are passionate about craft beer, a team oriented individual, and accustomed to fast paced physical labor.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for assisting in meeting goals of Packaging Department in all areas
- Operate and CIP Wild Goose canning line and Meheen bottle filler
- Ensure quality standards are met and work as a team in meeting allocation numbers
- Communicate with brewery staff and packaging team regarding packaging needs/changes when necessary
- Maintain and meet required clean keg numbers based off production needs and fill kegs
- Assist in maintaining organization and inventory of packaged beer and packaging materials throughout facilities
- Accurate and timely reporting of finished product
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation according to company SOP
- Ensure quality of finished product
- Creative pursuit of mastery
- 1 year of brewery experience is preferred
- Packaging experience preferred
- Experience with Wild Goose Canning systems or/and Meheen bottler is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50lbs
- Reports To: Head of Packaging
