What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at Burlington Graphic Systems, Inc.?
Basic Function: Oversee maintenance of building and grounds. Responsible for all preventative maintenance needed or the immediate repair of broken machinery.
Specific Duties
- Implement and perform preventative maintenance program.
- Oversee all machine repairs to ensure the most cost effective solution.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of machine problems.
- Interact with vendors when securing parts and instructions.
- Keep immediate work area clean and orderly per 5S rules.
- Occasionally perform light electrical repairs and/or installation.
- Direct part-time summer help in grounds and building maintenance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- This position is on call 24/7 – must be available as needed
- Must be available for overtime and work any shift assigned
• Implement and perform preventative maintenance program
• Repair electrical or mechanical equipment to ensure in good, working condition at all times
• Install, align and balance new or moved equipment
• Repair buildings, floors, and stairs
• Adhere to safety regulations including but not limited to lockout/tagout, OSHA, and fire safety
• Be available to travel to Indiana to assist with similar job duties at our other location
• Keep Maintenance work area clean and orderly
