What are the responsibilities and job description for the MC DIRECT CREELER position at Burlington Industries?
|
Patrols assignment, inspect creels for fallacies and make repairs. |
|
Secure cases of raw yarn from conveyor and transport to assigned creel by Clark truck or creel buggy. Must be able to creel 14' from floor and ride Clark truck to top level of creel. |
|
Open raw yarn case and codes pirns with proper shift identification |
|
Remove empty yarn pirns and replace with full raw supply packages. |
|
Air splice lead end and transfer tail and string net. |
|
Hand clean defective packages. |
|
Record production information on required form. |
|
Keep job assignment orderly, neat and free of waste. |
|
Quality check to ensure proper creeling of correct merge and yarn classifications. |
|
Perform all work in an acceptable manner according to prescribed methods. |
|
Rotate transfer tail to proper position on creel pins during shift. |
|
