POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Our Seasonal Tennis Pro Shop Front Desk Attendant position is a service-oriented job primarily geared towards giving our members, their children and their guests an enjoyable, carefree racquets experience. Key responsibilities include selling tennis merchandise in the tennis shop, maintaining the tennis shop and tennis related areas, booking lessons and court times and assisting professional staff with any administration or other tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Creates a friendly and welcoming environment at all times
- Daily interaction with Members and their children to book court times and lessons in software program and attend to their retail needs
- Management of Racquets Reservation System
- Manage all emails and phone communication for the Tennis Shop
- Interact with Tennis Professionals and Staff and be available to assist them as needed
- Tennis shop monthly inventories and office management support duties as needed
- Performs light tennis maintenance duties in the office or on courts when asked by Director and/or other staff with an enthusiastic attitude
- Assists with maintenance and court setup

Education and Experience:
- High School or College students are welcome to apply
- No diploma or degree required
- Some retail sales experience
- Racquets Experience through play in Tennis – preferred.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Windows Outlook, Excel (essential) and Word,
- Well versed or confident in learning Racquets reservation system (Kourts or other)
- Basic bookkeeping skills, attention to detail, ability to prepare routine administrative reports
- Familiar with stringing racquets, desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills, i.e. be polite, enthusiastic, well-spoken, patient
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended hours, including computer work
- Ability to move boxes and tennis supplies on a regular basic, up to 20 lbs.
