Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the development and optimization of data platform infrastructure tools and services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the needs of data engineers and analysts, and can translate technical requirements into scalable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product requirements : Develop comprehensive product requirements for data platform tools used across engineering and analytics teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with data engineering, infrastructure, analytics, and data science teams to balance platform management requirements against diverse user needs and technical constraints.
• Requirements synthesis : Capture inputs and use cases from disparate users and teams and distill them into a single set of manageable and executable requirements for Data Contracts enablement and enforcement.
• Product roadmap management : Oversee the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements while maintaining strategic alignment with company goals.
• User research and feedback : Conduct comprehensive user research and gather continuous feedback to improve platform service performance and user experience.
• Performance monitoring : Monitor KPIs and usage metrics to inform data-driven product decisions and demonstrate measurable impact on platform adoption and efficiency.
• Execution leadership : Drive day-to-day execution of product vision through sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives with engineering partners, ensuring smooth delivery cycles.
  
  

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
• Experience : 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally in data platforms or developer tools
• Skills :
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of data infrastructure, ETL pipelines, and cloud data platform technologies (Snowflake, Databricks)
• Experience working with agile teams and managing product backlogs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Other : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and translate technical requirements into scalable solutions
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern data formats and concepts like Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg
• Familiarity with cloud platform architectures like AWS
• Comfort with turning ambiguity and competing requirements into a clear, specific, prioritized vision
• Experience with data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks
• Background in software engineering or data science is a plus
