Compensation: $21/hr
What you get to do:
As a Recruiter, you will help identify and hire the best leaders to drive the company's growth and be the primary contact for all Community Outreach initiatives. You will:
- Assist in creating innovative search strategies that will identify and attract the best talent
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to promote recruitment efforts and expand the organization's presence within the community.
- Actively recruit potential candidates through outreach events, job fairs, onsite hiring events, and direct communication.
- Grow and develop relationships with hiring managers to fully understand and analyze talent needs
- Consult hiring managers on employment market conditions to assist them in making hiring decisions
- Screen candidates for skilled/professional positions and submit the most qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Subject matter knowledge on all recruiting related topics (ex: compensation, benefits, onboarding etc.)
- Conduct telephone, virtual and onsite screenings for skilled/professional positions
- Ensure application and interview processes comply to minimize company risk and liability
- Schedule candidate video/phone interviews using Teams for Hiring Manager(s)
- Post to job boards to promote role(s) on LinkedIn, Handshake, really, etc., as needed
- Assist in on-boarding new hires which includes background clearance, scheduling required trainings and orientation, and ensure new hire(s) are set up for success
- Assist with interviewing and processing during peak season, including all frontline positions
- Partner with Human Resources Business Partner and Employee Relations leaders
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and our Guests to promote a positive company brand and image
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in recruitment, for leisure, hospitality, or entertainment industry, preferred
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
- Experience working in a fast paced / high volume environment
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience sourcing talent and driving applications
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems or resume databases, preferred
What else is important:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
- Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
- Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
