Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Reefer Technician to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Reefer Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in our specialty vehicles. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC, refrigeration systems, and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems in specialty vehicles according to specifications and industry standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration units to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Document all service and repair activities, including parts used and labor hours, in our management system.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Reefer Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• EPA Certification Levels 1, 2, and 3 required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly: Climbing steps/stairs, Stretching, Lifting 40 lbs., Bending at the waist, Pushing, Walking, Kneeling
• Intermittent: Lifting overhead, Climbing ladders, Lifting 40 lbs. or more, Squatting

Work Schedule:

• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm.
