Job Description:
- We are seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support the planning, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of integration and testing solutions for both in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for synthesizing customer requirements into effective system test strategies, developing functional and technical specifications, and performing end-to-end testing and validation of complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integration and testing strategies for components, subsystems, and systems.
- Translate customer requirements into test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost considerations.
- Define technical specifications and interface parameters to ensure seamless system integration.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
- Collaborate with program teams and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate testing activities.
- Analyze test results and generate comprehensive evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.
- Document issues through discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to confirm resolution of system/software defects.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 4–6 years of experience in software development (C, C , LabVIEW preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in a production environment.
- 6 years of experience in test equipment design.
- 6 years of experience in electronic testing.
- 6 years of experience in mechanical testing.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Experience with LabVIEW/LabWindows CVI and National Instruments tools for development and maintenance of complex systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C with hands-on experience integrating software with automated test equipment (ATE), including VXI/PXI chassis, switches, and EO testing systems.
- Prior experience developing and maintaining ATE in a high-volume production environment.
- Familiarity with electro-optic sensor solutions for military or defense platforms.
