The Telemetry RN will need to specialize in monitoring, reading, and recording the outputs of an electrocardiogram which converts the heart’s electrical impulses into a visible and readable rhythm. They are trained to detect harmful changes in these readable rhythms and notify the doctor on duty. They also monitor essential signs such as oxygen level and blood pressure. If an irregular heart impulse is noticed, telemetry nurses may help with some procedures such as treatments for cardiac and cardiovascular emergencies.
If you are interested in our contracts please make sure you meet the following requirements.
Must Haves:
- At least one year of recent (within the last 2 years) Registered Nurse TELE experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- At least an Associates Degree
Further Contract Details:
- Guaranteed at least 36 hours a week
- Day shift available 3x12
- 13-Week Contract
- Every other weekend and holiday
Compensation: $65.00 per hour
