10 MONTH CONTRACT
This position is for an experienced pilot familiar with ProLine Fusion or ProLine 21 Avionics to serve as a system scenario consultant with the Avionics Advanced Technology Sandbox Organization.
The Avionics Advanced Technology Development Sandbox team is chartered with defining new disruptive developmental process improvements for the Avionics business unit to enable faster cycle times, lower total lifecycle cost, reduce tech debt and enable greater reusability.
As the organization prepares for single-pilot operations (SPO), the need for rapid robust scenario-based testing of our systems is needed. The "Million Hour Scenario" project combines the concepts of ontologies, modeling, scenario-generation, automated systems tests, and highly scaled cloud compute environments to conduct a Million Hours of systems testing in 2-weeks of wall-clock time.
This position will be performed hybrid in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and will require 10% travel time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Interface with engineering technical team on developing Scenarios for automated systems testing of ProLine Fusion / 21
Respond to inquiries from the engineering team on system operation, concept of operations, abnormal operations, and other flight scenarios related to robust testing of the ProLine Fusion / 21 avionics system

Basic Qualifications:
**HARD FILTER 3 years experience flying with Proline Fusion or Proline 21 avionics as a Commercial or Air Transport rated pilo
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
Ability to communicate clearly to technical teams
Passion or Experience in product development, UX design, functional Concept of Operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Systems engineering skills including design, development and debugging
Experience with early design and development of avionics systems
