| POSITION Paid Marketing Intern

| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Intern will assist in the creation of various marketing materials including digital, graphic design, photography, and video production. The intern will help maintain the organization’s brand and assist the marketing team with events and projects.
Starting Spring Semester 2025, this intern will work on a flexible schedule based on the student's availability and the tasks outlined at any given time, not to exceed 15 hours per week.
Specific assignments for this position will be driven by the intern’s passion, areas of expertise, and career program. Current Butler Tech students with a passion for photography OR graphic design OR digital/social media are encouraged to apply!
Candidates selected to interview will be asked to provide work samples to showcase their skillsets.

| QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Butler Tech student enrolled in a relevant career program;
- Passion for graphic design, digital/social media, marketing, or a related interest;
- Basic Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) preferred;
- Basic photography and videography skills, including knowledge of editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) preferred;
- Creative individual with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Highly motivated and able to work independently with periodic feedback from mentor;
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with a team;
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude;
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects;
- Ability to document progress, organize, prioritize, think critically, and exercise professional judgement;
- Valid drivers’ license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance are a plus;
- Satisfactory attendance and discipline record.
