Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: 9:00pm - 5:00am
As a Sanitation Technician you will:
- Covering of all electrical boxes and equipment before beginning clean
- Safely and properly disassemble production equipment
- Rinse equipment of all remaining raw material and product residue
- Properly foam, soap, and scrub the equipment
- Sanitize the equipment using appropriate sanitation methods
- Reassemble the equipment back to its original state
- Check and remove moisture if present in the pipes and ceiling
- Meet USDA and company standards, using identified chemicals, foam machines, brushes, water hoses etc.
- Using 5'S organize the area
- Sanitize the floor using proper chemicals, products and squeegee the excess water into the waste drains
- Understand the impact of the Sanitation Teams work on micro counts and product cleanliness
- Check equipment after finishing the sanitation cycle to verify swabs are acceptable

Requirements
- Previous Sanitation experience preferred, but not required willing to train the right individual
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to determine the root cause of issues that arise
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- The position requires standing, walking, bending, crouching and climbing up steps, and working in a hot/wet environment
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to manage time well and complete given tasks within the given time frame
