What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Financial Systems Administrator position at Buyers Edge Platform?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Financial Systems Administrator to support the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of our financial systems, with a focus on NetSuite ERP. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2 years of hands-on NetSuite experience and a desire to grow their career in financial systems administration.

In this role, you will help support internal users, assist with system improvements, and participate in NetSuite and financial systems projects—both domestic and international.

Your impact:

System Administration & Support

  • Responding to help desk tickets from our financial system users in a multi-national environment.
  • Manage NetSuite user setup, roles/permissions, and access control in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist in the monitoring and resolution of issues related to workflows, dashboards, saved searches, reports, and data integrity.
  • Support data imports/exports using CSV and other standard formats.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Assist with the analysis and documentation of current financial system workflows.
  • Recommend and implement system changes to improve efficiency and accuracy across finance operations.
  • Maintain internal documentation related to system configurations, support procedures, and training materials.

Project & Implementation Support

  • Participate in NetSuite enhancement and implementation projects, including gathering requirements, performing testing, and supporting user adoption.
  • Assist in integrating new subsidiaries, features, or financial systems into the NetSuite platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and IT to align system capabilities with business needs.


About you:

Required:

  • 2 years of hands-on experience working with NetSuite ERP in a user support or administration role.
  • Strong understanding of core NetSuite functionality: GL, AP/AR, purchasing, reporting, saved searches, roles, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation using CSV and standard formats (XML, JSON is a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred:

  • Exposure to NetSuite implementation projects or international/multi-entity environments (OneWorld).
  • Experience with workflow configuration, saved searches, and user training.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like Celigo.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or accounting.
