Production Manager-Painting business

Job Summary
C.E.T. Painting is looking for a dedicated production manager to oversee all aspects of field operations, including planning, scheduling, staffing, and ensuring the completion of projects on time and within budget. As a key player in the company, you will work closely with office staff, field teams, and clients to guarantee a smooth and efficient production process, ultimately exceeding customer expectations while achieving performance and profitability goals

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet budget and schedule requirements as outlined in contracts.
• Oversee the pre-production phase, including scheduling, organizing, and ordering materials.
• Monitor production phases (preparation, application, and post-production) to guarantee project success.
• Achieve and maintain a productivity rate of 97% or above across all projects.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed to customer satisfaction.
• Develop job plans and material lists in collaboration with job leaders to ensure efficient job execution.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction on every project by maintaining regular communication with clients, addressing concerns, and providing updates.
• Conduct daily or weekly check-ins with clients, depending on project scope.
• Lead final client walk-throughs to ensure complete satisfaction before the crew leaves the site.
• Resolve any customer complaints within 12 hours, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain a jobsite atmosphere that reflects professionalism, including managing crew behavior, uniforms, and work environment.
• Lead initial and ongoing training programs for all field staff, ensuring they are well-versed in safety practices, job-specific skills.
• Develop and implement a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with safety practices at all times.
• Oversee field team performance and provide regular feedback to improve skills and productivity.
• Efficiently schedule painting staff and equipment to meet project needs and ensure on-time job completion.

Experience

• Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the painting or construction industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in training and managing field teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain client relationships.
• High level of attention to detail, particularly regarding project scope, budget, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management softwares.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
• A positive attitude and commitment to creating a professional, respectful work environment.
