What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Operator position at C & G MACHINING INC?
Small family production machine shop looking for CNC Mill operator. 4 DAY WORK WEEK - NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS! PTO, $23 per hour/40 hours a week.
Duties:
Duties:
- Load material/parts in and out of CNC Mill to run production orders.
- Interpret simple dimensions from Blueprints and perform in process inspection.
- Minor program changes, mainly tool offsets.
- Record inspection data.
- Deburr parts as needed.
- Replacement of worn or damaged tools (inserts, end mills, drills, etc).
- Empty machine of chips and add fluids as necessary.
- May be required to saw cut raw stock to size.
- Preparing tools and tool holders for new operation.
Qualifications:
- 4 years CNC machine shop operating experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to stand and operate machine for hours at a time.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints on a variety of part types.
- Ability to fill out inspection reports.
- (Optional) FADAL experience is a plus.
- (Optional) - Extensive setup experience is a huge plus.
- (Optional) GibbsCAM software programming experience is a plus.
- (Optional) Ability to set up, program, and run simple jobs from a blueprint via writing G-code at the machine is a huge plus.
- (Optional) CNC Lathe experience is a plus, especially Mazak.
