Community Marketing Agent

This is an entry level sales position responsible for generating & scheduling appointments with homeowners interested in exterior improvements to their home (windows, siding, roofing or composite decking).

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

1. Outgoing personality, enjoy meeting with people face-to-face.
2. High level of energy and motivation – Must be a self-starter.
3. Enjoy working outdoors in varying conditions.
4. Ability to follow systemized processes and scripts. (Will be taught study and memorization skills)
5. Goal driven and persistent personality.
6. Ability to evaluate department processes and procedures and suggest needed changes to improve results.
7. Ability to adhere to all dress codes and company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
8. Ability to use tablet device.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Generate appointments via home shows & door-to-door marketing efforts.
2. Accurately obtain and record customer information as outlined within the system.
3. Reach and/or exceed daily & weekly lead generation budgets for appointments.
4. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Marketing at home shows & canvassing neighborhoods door to door with ongoing training.
2. Physical effort required (lengthy periods on your feet)
3. Working in inclement weather conditions. (Rain, snow, sunshine – how bad do you want to succeed?)

QUALIFICATIONS and ENCOURAGEMENTS:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Military veterans encouraged
• Skilled trades experience encouraged

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Valid Michigan driver license is a condition of initial and continued employment.
Approved Background check is a condition of initial and continued employment.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
