As a Chemical Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our chemical manufacturing processes, specifically focusing on the production of alum and other associated manufactured chemicals. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of chemical processing equipment, including digesters, mixers, pumps, and control systems, to ensure the efficient production of chemical products.
- Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
- Monitor and control the flow of raw materials, chemicals, and utilities to maintain optimal production rates and product quality.
- Adjust settings and control parameters to ensure processes meet specified standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on equipment and products to ensure adherence to quality specifications and safety standards.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process irregularities, performing minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
Education & Qualification:
- High school diploma or general education development certificate.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, and operating front-end loading equipment preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a chemical plant environment, including exposure to chemicals, heat, and noise.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
