Job Description
C Squared Systems, LLC (C2 Systems) is an RF engineering, consulting, and software development company specializing in providing services for seamless wireless coverage from RF analysis to design and implementation of DAS systems and Wi-Fi networks to remote monitoring and management of complex multi-vendor environments. Site Portal®, a customizable Web-based software, was engineered by C2 Systems to remotely monitor and manage these complex multi-vendor environments.
Since 1999, C2 Systems has executed turnkey In-Building wireless solutions using state-of-the-art analysis tools to deliver RF solutions that exceed project scope and customer expectations. Our experience, technical expertise, and diverse projects in the wireless realm have allowed C2 Systems to continually evolve as new technologies are developed and the demands of our customers change.
C2 Systems is currently seeking a senior level project/construction manager to assist with the implementation and construction phases for the In-Building DAS projects. The project/construction manager will report to the In-Building Manager but will work directly with Engineers, Technicians and Sub-Contractors on a daily basis. They are responsible for overseeing and ensuring the project goes smoothly from commencement to completion. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must possess both project management and construction management skills as they will be working on various types of projects. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers and must provide timely and detailed updates. They will be exposed to various DAS standards and must be able to adapt to a growing industry. This is a full time salaried position that requires the employee to be flexible with their work schedule to accommodate customers’ needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee and lead projects from start to finish
  • Maintain and update project trackers to ensure deadlines and completion dates are met
  • Interface with various sub-contractor trades and give direction as needed
  • Attend site surveys and bid walks and provide detailed notes for the scope of work
  • Generate scopes of work for sub-contractors and review quote proposals during bid leveling phase
  • Attend final punch list walks with customers to close out projects
  • Assist with scheduling engineers/technicians and coordinating access to sites
  • Maintain customer relationships through efficient communication and professionalism
  • Perform frequent quality control checks on each job site and address any issues that occur
  • Provide clear and informative updates to team members and customers
  • Some travel to various job sites within New England (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI)
  • Occasional travel to other parts of the United States.

Requirements

  • 2 year college or technical degree
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience. Previous experience with DAS installations or other cellular systems is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of installation procedures related to communication systems
  • Must have a construction background with hands on experience
  • Must have knowledge of structured cabling systems. Any certifications are a plus
  • Must be able to read and interpret iBWave design plans, blueprints, construction drawings, and similar documentation
  • Ability to work in fast paced and high-pressure environments
  • Have the desire to continue learning new industry standards and best practices
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Existing OSHA 10 certification is preferred. OSHA 30 certification is a plus
  • PMP Certification is a plus though not required
  • Proficient with computers and common applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • JMA PPC Termination experience is a plus
  • Anritsu Sweep and PIM testing experience is a plus
