CW Appliance Services, a 65-year-old, family-owned and operated business, is looking for a Parts Department Associate at its Dallas, Texas facility.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and someone able to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.

The candidate should have good computer skills and able to communicate professionally with others (in-person, email, phone, etc) and can multitask and to adapt to new procedures quickly.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Pull appliance parts daily to fill the service tickets
· Able to access online Service Manuals and IPL's to perform research and assistance to the technicians (who operate in the field)
· Ability to multitask as can be high volume and quick paced environment
· Drive company van daily to pick up parts at local Distributor
· Deliver part(s) to technician in need throughout DFW metroplex (when necessary)
· Upon request, able to drive to other branches on a weekly basis (e.g., Austin / San Antonio)
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, management, and the general public
· Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adhere to the company's policies and relevant health and safety procedures
· Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Parts Manager as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:
· High school graduate or equivalent
· Valid driver’s license
· Basic Computer Skills and Basic Data Entry Skills
· Knowledge of inventory control
· The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to work under varied circumstances
· Day Shift (Monday-Friday) 7:30AM – 4:30PM
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
