What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) PRN position at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center?
Seeking a PRN Certified Medical Assistant in the Family Medicine clinic. Responsible for patient flow for the provider through telephone response, triage, exam and procedure assistance, patient education, patient call backs, and direct communication with both the provider and practice manager. Both front office/reception and direct patient care are required on a daily basis.
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Educational Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent
Successful completion of certified medical assistant program
MA non Certified for on the job training
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in a previous medical office or other related medical practice. Must have experience performing minor procedures and minor in-office lab testing under the CLIA wavered test status regulations.
