Southwind has an opening for an IT Specialist.
The Southwind full-time IT Specialist will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PC's, RF Guns, Software and related devices. The candidate must be professional, analytical, supportive, and a team player with a solid understanding of PC hardware, software, and networking.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Installation and maintenance of personal computers, loading software, printer maintenance, imaging PCs, and providing local and remote end-user support
· Identify, research, and resolve technical problems for all end-user equipment to include but not limited to laptops, desktops, desk phones, printers, scanner devices and RF Guns
· Respond quickly to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support providing impeccable customer service *Assist in maintaining and adjusting LAN wiring and patch panels
· Provide routine monitoring, testing, and analysis of all related IT system elements
· Prepare training room/conference for meetings,
· Set up new users, groups and rights using Office 365, NetSuite and LogFire
· Coordinate with other staff to provide support and or completing projects efficiently
Qualifications and Skills
· Troubleshooting skills and diagnostic skills used in diagnosing network, operating system software and hardware related issues
· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines and handle responsibilities in a professional manner
· People oriented, able to provide clear, professional communication
· Required to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach overhead, climb and bend to the floor. Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
· Must be able to work after hours and periodic holidays as needed.
· Employee must have ability to work on his/her own with no direct, constant supervision. Must be comfortable performing the essential job functions and feel comfortable being held accountable for their completion. The employee must be self-motivating and willing to take control.
· There will be travel to the stores for new openings and remodel setups.
