What You’ll Get to Do:
In this position, you will maintain, update, and develop modifications to existing spreadsheets/databases as well as create new documents/materials. The candidate should have excellent documenting capability in generating briefs, slides, whitepapers, reports with an advanced level of knowledge in the Microsoft Suite of Software Tools. Also, candidate must have experience as a technical writer in providing editorial reviews to whitepaper, reports, and briefs.
More About the Role:
Provide Technical Writing support to our customers in the Performance Assessment Department onboard NSWC Corona.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Visio and Flank Speed
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel macros is plus.
4 Years Experience as a technical writer
Ability to provide editorial reviews to whitepapers, reports, and briefs.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines on aggressive test schedules.
Adaptable to changing requirements and environments in high tempo environments.
Ability to generate briefs, whitepapers, and reports.
Experience in research and knowledge gathering.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Critical thinking skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Bachelor's Degree in English or equivalent discipline
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Navy knowledge is desired but not required.
