Summary:
A successful candidate should be individually ambitious as well as motivated to work as a team to achieve a shared goal. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work on multiple cases with varying research, achieve departmental targets and goals, and deliver timely responses to documents received.
Essential Job Duties:
- Intake garnishments, levies, subpoenas, notice of delinquencies/freeze, etc.
- Review paperwork received to see if within jurisdiction, if received timely, and for accuracy.
- Log case work in appropriate application and if needed, perform due diligence on customer’s account.
- Research requested customer files that may include but not limited to: copies of checks, statements, deposit offsets, loan documents, wires, etc.
- Prioritize case work assigned according to impact, time case has been left outstanding, type of case requested, etc.
- Provide consistent exemplary customer service to outside counsel, attorneys, agents by communicating effectively and taking ownership of task performed.
- Facilitate end to end process with each case given and follow through to resolve any questions that arise regarding resolution decided.
- Follow appropriate procedures for work assigned that include regulatory guidelines and bank preferred practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years banking experience
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of related work experience with a legal background
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Detail oriented
- Strong work ethic and ownership of tasks
- Ability to research questions and resolve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Ability to operate independently and/or with team with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Works coorperatively with others

Salary : $34,800 - $44,100
