Cadence Care Network, a local non-profit mental and behavioral health agency, is looking for a Full Time Human Resource Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing daily assistance to the Human Resource Director with general duties.
The Human Resource Assistant duties include:
- Assist with conducting background checks and/or reference checks as required for employment.
- Provide assistance with new employee onboarding.
- Assist with entering and/or reconciling timecards.
- Assist with ensuring proper processing of payroll deductions and benefits.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices.
The Human Resource Assistant requirements include:
- Minimum of associate degree in accounting, business, or related field.
- Minimum of one year of Human Resource experience.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work activities to meet required deadlines.
- Excellent Organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Payroll applications.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
