Company Overview
Seasonal Preschool Teacher Qualifications:
- BA in early childhood education, child development, or another child-related area (Preferably Master's degree - because being a master is cool!)
- 2 years experience related to caring for children.
- Additionally, if caring for a group of children under the age of 3 must have 1 year experience and/or training
- Must obtain or willing to obtain NYS Certifications
- Demonstrated Classroom Management Skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High Flexibility to work within all Business hours
Seasonal Preschool Teacher Job Responsibilities:
- A Seasonal Preschool Teacher will enthusiastically embrace the philosophy of Cadence Education and work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a super positive learning environment for all the awesome children within the center
- Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s day
- Collaborate with other passionate preschool teachers and leaders to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Respect and observe children's interests. Intervene when needed to maintain safety. Enhance children's play with language, toys, and activities
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
- Share ideas in planning a daily schedule which provides a balance of activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor, etc.
